"Relaxation for the whole body", Ljusnan

During one week in February almost 80 Qigong students from Sweden, Norway, Finland and England gathered in Bollnäs to practice together. The stressful society creates a need to find a way to relax, says Herbjörn Wilhelmsen, who is the leader of the course. For the fifth consecutive year the course took place at the folk school. Per Kron, who is participating, says that evidently Qigong has been very helpful for him. A couple of years ago a neurological disease hit his sense of balance. To be able to walk he needed a zimmer frame and without support he couldn't stand up. After practicing Qigong for six months he noticed improvements. Today he can walk without assistance. "I'm very grateful for Qigong since I've made such progress", he says.
