Topphälsan

In the November edition, 2007, the "Topphälsan" magazine has an article about Camilla who recovered from migraine and depression by practicing Zhineng Qigong. Topphälsan meets her at the museum of modern art in Stockholm when she gives a concert with her own music. Camilla reveals that she has always been making music and recently she graduated from the Royal Collage of Music in Stockholm and the Sibelius Academy of music in Helsinki.

Recovered from migraine and depression when practicing Zhineng Qigong.

At the age of three Camilla got her first migraine attack. As the years went by the migraine grew worse. Some months she would have more days with migraine than without. She had to plan her life after her migraine attacks. In 2003 she collapsed and was also diagnosed with depression.

Camilla's sister, Jeanette, was close to early disability retirement due to back problems. By practicing Qigong she was freed from her symptoms. Encouraged by Jeanette, Camilla joined a basic course and continued to practice regularly. "After half a year I had enough strength to start playing the piano again" says Camilla. "In the summer of 2004 I knew the trend was reversed. It was fantastic! I had confidence and I dared to look forward". Now Qigong is a natural part of Camilla's life. The migraine comes more seldom. "I have to dampen my enthusiasm when I tell what Qigong has given me, otherwise nobody will believe me. It's just too much, too fantastic," says Camilla. In the beginning of next year Camilla's first record with her original compositions will be released.
